I'm currently writing my second novel and one of my biggest challenges is staying on track with my writing goals. So whether you're working on a novel, short story, or any other writing project, I've created a google sheets "Writing Tracker" and I'm happy to share at no cost to keep those hands on keyboards and help you stay organised and motivated throughout the year.

This customisable tool is designed to keep you on track with your writing goals, offering:

  • Daily Writing Progress Trackers: Easily log your word count, writing time, and other key metrics which will automate and update your goal summary.

  • Goal Charts: To help visualise your progress so you can see how close you are to your writing milestones.

  • Formula-Based Goal Automations: Set your targets and deadlines, and let the tracker automatically calculate your daily goals based on your overall writing plan and deadline.

With these features, you’ll be able to break down your larger writing projects into achievable daily tasks and maintain momentum throughout the year. The best part? It's fully customisable to fit your unique writing style and goals.

Download your free Writing Tracker below and let’s make 2025 your most productive writing year yet!

To download and use, go to "file" in the google sheets menu, and "Make a Copy".

Every word counts ✍︎ ✧・゚

Just downloaded your writing Tracker. Thank you very much for sharing it! Here's hoping it will help me. I have made a note to look at your novel on the 18th of this month, as that is when my money next comes through.
